Catholic Charities offers After School Tutoring and Youth Mentoring. They help young students who are at risk of failure and dropping out of school. They give them one-on-one tutoring and mentoring. Volunteer tutors are paired up with the same students every week when possible to maintain consistency. Call for more information.

Children's Home Society of Florida - Gulf Coast

This agency strives to protect children and teens. They provide emergency shelter. They have a foster care program. They can help with adoption. This agency has a mobile camping program. It combines Summer Camp and Youth Camp and offers it to areas that may be socially and/or economically challenged. The aim of this program is to teach youth how to use their free time in a positive manner. They will develop a high level of self esteem and learn positive leadership skills.
