Catholic Charities Diocese of St. Petersburg - HUD 202 Senior Housing Communities

This agency offers senior housing to those with very low incomes. Several apartment communities are available for those over 62. Each community has a Service Coordinator. They can help with getting social services such as food stamps. Fun activities are planned on site for tenants. Please call for more information.

Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida - Employment Services

This agency helps people with disabilities with a broad range of services. The goal is to enable them to live as independently as possible. Sign language interpreting services are available. Some Medicaid recipients may be eligible to transfer from a nursing home to their own home.

Mid Florida Community Services of Hernando County - Community Care for the Elderly

Community Care for the Elderly is a state-funded program. To qualify for services, the client must be 60 years of age or over, and be functionally impaired. Fees are on a sliding-scale basis.
