A New Generation - Pregnancy & Family Resource Center

Offering services to our clients physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Prevention services include our Worth Waiting for Abstinence and Hernando Teen Advisor programs. Offers support and assistance to people facing a pregnancy, or post-abortion stress. All services free of charge. Call for more information.

Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida - Employment Services

This agency helps people with disabilities with a broad range of services. The goal is to enable them to live as independently as possible. Sign language interpreting services are available. Some Medicaid recipients may be eligible to transfer from a nursing home to their own home.

Hernando County Disaster Recovery Center

We are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sunday hours are from noon to 6 p.m.

If possible, before going to the center, residents with storm or flooding losses should register with FEMA. Call 1.800.621.3362 for more information. Lines are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
