Catholic Charities Diocese of St. Petersburg, Inc. - Family Outreach and Support Program

This agency provides a number of counseling services.

All services are free and include:

  • Adult educational presentations
  • Case management services
  • Children’s life skills classes
  • Comprehensive family assessment.
  • Individual, marital, family and group counseling.
  • Parent support groups.
  • Referrals to community resources.
  • Volunteer projects at schools & childcare centers.

Francis House - Day Respite Care (HIV/AIDS)

This agency provides interfaith spiritual care during the day for adults with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Adult programs include support groups, educational and spiritual support as well as recreational activities and field trips. Lunch is offered daily at 12noon and at 12:30pm on Friday. There is also a food pantry available.

Life Coaching Program (Pregnancy Service)

This program provides support to pregnant women and new mothers. It offers counseling and addresses the issues that are important to each client. They will help you to meet goals, get parenting advice or resolve relationship issues. Women who are part of the program receive Life Points, which can be redeemed for new baby clothing, diapers and baby supplies.

You must be pregnant or have a baby under one year old to be a part of the program.

Pregnancy Care Center of Plant City - Pregnancy Care

This agency provides pregnancy and parental counseling. They offer referrals and parenting classes. Their "Earn While You Learn" program is a prenatal and parenting program. Please see the website for all services.

  • Limited ultrasounds
  • Material assistance for newborns to 12 months
  • Parenting support
  • Peer counseling
  • Pregnancy tests

Tampa Jewish Family Services - Counseling Program

TJFS provides counseling services to people of all ages. Counseling is provided in a confidential and supportive setting. TJFS can provide services on a sliding scale based on total income.
