A Safe Haven For Newborns - Pregnancy & Adoption Support

The aim of this agency is to prevent the abandonment of newborns. Women who have an unexpected pregnancy can find help here. Safe Haven is a safety net for mothers and their newborns. They help new mothers before they reach the crisis stage. Clients can get information and advice about adoption and parenting. Please see the website for more information.

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches - Harmony In The Street Mobile Camping (Region 2)

This agency has a mobile camping program. It combines Summer Camp and Youth Camp and offers it to areas that may be socially and/or economically challenged. The aim of this program is to teach youth how to use their free time in a positive manner. They will develop a high level of self esteem and learn positive leadership skills. Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches - Residential Care Services (Region 2)

FSYR offers a warm, caring home to youth in need. It is for those children who, for whatever reason, cannot remain in their own homes. It is for children ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who help them develop a strong work ethic, sense of teamwork and self respect. Each child must be recommended by the local Sheriff. Homeless Family Center - Emergency Housing

Emergency Housing is available to homeless families. This program is limited to a 90 day stay. Clients who are able are required to work full time and children are enrolled in daycare/school.
