Food for the soul
We are a Christ centered non-profit ministry. We strive to connect people to God by showing mercy, grace and compassion by providing spiritual food as well as physical food. Our doors are open to, but not limited to low-income, homeless and seniors in need of clothing, food and personal hygiene items.
Some services are Community Outreach Center's House of Prayer, GED Program, Recovery Program/Referrals, Meal Program, and Emergency Relief.
Children’s Home Society provides counseling. Services are given to kids, teens and families. They may be able to help with a range of issues your child is struggling to cope with. The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor.
The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities gives students with special needs the chance to attend a private school. The program is for students in grades K-12. Please see the website for more information.

This agency has a mobile camping program. It combines Summer Camp and Youth Camp and offers it to areas that may be socially and/or economically challenged. The aim of this program is to teach youth how to use their free time in a positive manner. It also helps teaching to accept others and appreciate the cultural differences of all. Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches provides residental care to children in need. It is for ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who helps them. Each child must be recommended by the local Sheriff. Please call or visit website for more information.
Intervention Services, Inc. provides Outpatient Services. This program provides treatment to children, adolescents and their families. For those who are experiencing mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral problems. Services are usually given in an office or community settings such as the home or school. They offer counseling and psychiatric services. They accept Medicaid and Medicare. They also provide services on a sliding fee basis for private pay clients. Call for more information.
