Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides social services for homeless men. They offer The Pavilion; it is the only emergency drop-in shelter in Central Florida. Men who stay there are given a warm meal, showers, and a place to sleep for the night. The Pavilion is also home to First Steps Shelter Recovery Program. It is a substance abuse program. The center is made up of three distinct sections; a single women’s dorm, family dorm, and individual family rooms. They also offer the First Steps Shelter Recovery Program for Women. The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor.
