Bay Care Behavioral Health - Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit

This hospital provides mental health services to children and teens under 18 years of age. Services take place at the Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Recovery Center. They provide acute care services at the Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit. Programs are offered that provide a safe, healing environment. Services include family therapy and aftercare planning.

Camelot Community Care - Targeted Case Management

This agency provides case management services to children who have a mental health diagnosis. They link advocates and refer children and family for needed services. Medication management is available on-site.

The case manager arranges and monitors the services being provided. He or she is the advocate for the client. He/she makes sure the most appropriate level of service is being given.

Central Pasco Girls Academy

This is a residential facility for girls. It serves troubled youth ages 13 to 18. They are in need of intensive mental health services. While here, the girls receive individual, group and family therapy. The average stay is 6-9 months. Education services are provided by the Pasco County School District.

Harbor Behavioral Health - Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit

Inpatient crisis stabilization unit for adults 18 years of age and older. Admissions may be on a voluntary or involuntary basis based on Baker Act criteria. Program offers a safe environment for medically stable adults including 24 hour nursing care and supervision, medical services through a physician and/or ARNP, group, individual therapy.

Hours of operation: 8:00am-5:30pm Monday - Friday
Eligibility requirements: Adults aged 18 and over who present an immediate or near future threat to themselves or others.

Lake Academy

This is a 46-bed facilty for girls. It is for juvenile offenders, ages 12 through 18. It is for girls with mental health issues and developmental disabilities. There are also services for females with medical conditions. This includes diabetes, renal disease, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS and more. The average stay is from 9 to 12 months. Education services are provided while they are here.
