Access Florida - Food Stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, and Medicaid

The Food Stamp Program helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Dept of Children and Families services.

You can view the application in English, Haitian-Creole, or Spanish.

Children's Medical Services - Orlando Area

Provides Specialty Medical Care for children ages 0-21 years of age with chronic medical conditions that may hinder normal growth and development. Appointments are made by phone.

Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm, Saturday thru Sunday CLOSED

Income limits based on age of child. Call for income review. Social Security card, proof of income and proof of insurance/medicaid.

The state of Florida offers health insurance for children from birth through age 18, even if one or both parents are working. It includes four different parts.

Medical Services - Shepherd's Hope Health Center

Shepherd's Hope is a faith-based agency of volunteers who provide access to health care for the uninsured. Doctors and nurses treat uninsured, low-income patients in need of non-emergency medical care at various locations throughout Central Florida. The visit is Free. Patients are seen at Shepherd’s Hope health centers on a first-come, first-served basis.
