Seamark Ranch - Home for Boys and Girls

This is a long-term care facility for at-risk children. It is for those who are between the ages of 6 and 16 whose parental rights have been severed. Children are accepted based on need without regard to money or influence. They attend classes at the on-campus school. They spend time on the on-site farm and also help take care of the farm's horses. The goal is to prepare them for future success in life. Please see the website for more information.

Sulzbacher Center

This agency is Northeast Florida’s largest provider of emergency shelter for homeless men, women and children. The shelter is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They serve nutritious meals and offer safe shelter. They provide outstanding health care and high-quality children’s programs. They offer job placement help and life skills programs. The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida

The Salvation Army provides social services to those in need. Clients can find food and shelter. Families can stay together at the Red Shield Lodge. The Jacksonville Citadel gym is a designated Cold Night Shelter for homeless men. The soup kitchen serves a daily meal to the homeless and working poor. Please see the website for more information.

Trinity Rescue Mission

Trinity Rescue Mission provides many services to those in need. There is an overnight shelter for homeless men. They can get meals, showers and fresh clothing. There are also programs for those with substance abuse issues. The Women and Children's Center provides safe shelter while women rebuild their lives.
