Access Florida - Food Stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, and Medicaid

The Food Stamp Program helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Dept of Children and Families services.

Children's Home Society of Florida - Family Treasures Thrift Shop

Staffed almost entirely by volunteers. The Family Treasures Thrift Shop is a community effort. It is stocked with carefully selected donated items. All of our profits go toward helping Children's Home Society of Florida create stronger families and brighter futures for children throughout mid-Florida. ECS has early learning programs for young children.They are based on the latest research. Developing language skills are supported through meaningful conversation. Teachers expand on children’s ideas; everyone explores new ideas together. Children develop a life long love of learning that will foster success in later life.
