Shelter House - Children's Programs

Shelter House provides Children’s Programs. They will find out the immediate needs of every child that enters into the shelter. Parent/legal guardian permission will be asked for. The Child Victim Advocate will evaluate to find out each child’s needs. They will also find out exposure to any type of abuse. If necessary, referrals will be given to the parent/legal guardian to address specific issues. Shelter House also gives child therapy services free of charge. A licensed therapist is available by appointment through a Victim Advocate. Call for more information.

Shelter House - Peer Counseling

Shelter House provides Peer Counseling. Victim Advocates provide services in person or over the phone. All advocates are certified. They are able to provide any and all services. A Bilingual Spanish-speaking Victim Advocate is also available. In addition, they have a confidential language line available for all other non-English speaking participants. They also have a TTY line for the deaf. Call for more information.

  • Court assistance, court accompaniment and injunction assistance
