Veterans Legal Project - Legal Aid services of Collier County

Help with issues includes (but is not limited to) :

• Defending against claims and collection actions by creditors
• Defending against eviction or foreclosure and obtaining or retaining affordable housing
• Defending against garnishment or repossession
• Maintaining income by securing unpaid wages
• Obtaining other public benefits for income or medical care (including social security, SSI, SSD, Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment, TANF/food stamps)
• Obtaining restoration of Driver’s License and resolving civil fines
• Obtaining VA benefits and medical treatment where previously and improperly denied
• Preventing employment discrimination based upon disability
• Reducing legal barriers to employment, education or housing
