Area churches and synagogues join together to provide temporary shelter to homeless families. They stay for one to two weeks at a time and then move on to another place of worship. While doing this, they meet with social workers and other people who will help them along the path of self sufficiency. Please see the website for more information.

This agency unites the efforts of all faiths to shelter and feed homeless families. Families are housed at area houses of worship. Members provide meals and shelter to guest families. They can use laundry facilities, meet with a social worker and more. They stay with each congregation for about two weeks before moving on to another. Children attend their regular schools.
