Victim Services (VINE) - Department of Corrections

This program helps victims of crimes committed by Florida inmates. Through the VINE program, victims can sign up for an automatic notification service. Anyone may call the toll-free number to get an inmate's current location and release date. You may also register to learn when an inmate is released, transferred, escapes or dies. Boys Town North Florida

Boys Town helps children who need a safe place to stay. They work to reunite families and keep them together. When this is not possible, Boys Town finds foster homes or provides a home at one of their family residences in Tallahassee. Modest Needs Foundation

This agency offers one-time emergency financial help. You must apply online through their website. There are different types of grants, depending on the need. The Homecoming Heroes grant is for Veterans. Small non-profit agencies may apply for a grant as well. Please see the website for more information.

The purpose of the Attorney General's office is to enforce the laws of Florida. Their aim is to protect consumers from fraud, identity theft and more. The Crime Victims program helps those who have been a victim of crime to get financial compensation. Please see the website for more information.
