Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) is a program run by the Social Security Administration (SSA). It helps people who are 14-65 years old and receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits transition to work. It offers information about benefits and work incentives. It helps these individuals avoid problems including overpayments, loss of benefits, and financial hardship.
The Center for Independent Living of the Keys (CIL of the Keys) is an SSA WIPA project. It serves several counties in the South Florida region.
