Gainesville Community Ministry provides emergency food. The food is for seniors, the disabled, and those with low income. You may get a 2 day supply of food once a month. You must apply in person. Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 2:30PM. A picture ID and Social Security Card, or Social Security print-out is required. Call or visit the website to learn more.

This resale store offers gently used clothing and furniture. They also have books, toys, housewares, antiques and jewelry. Proceeds of the sales of all items go towards the support of Haven Hospice. This Care Center has end-of-life care. They focus on the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of its patients. There are services for family members as well.
