Criteria for being chosen:

You have a need

  • You are currently living in substandard housing
  • You do not own my own home

You have the ability to pay

  • You do not have excessive credit card debt or multiple bills in collection
  • You have not declared bankruptcy or had a foreclosure within the past 3 years
  • You pay my rent on time

You are willing to partner with Habitat

  • Attend Habitat homeowner training classes
  • Contribute 250 hours of "sweat equity"
  • You are willing to live in an area where Habitat has homes
  • Pay $1200 towards closing costs
