Job Corps is a free education and career technical training program. They offer help to young people ages 16 through 24. Clients receive the skills needed to succeed in today's workforce. Criteria for being chosen:

You have a need

  • You are currently living in substandard housing
  • You do not own my own home

You have the ability to pay

  • You do not have excessive credit card debt or multiple bills in collection
  • You have not declared bankruptcy or had a foreclosure within the past 3 years
  • You pay my rent on time

You are willing to partner with Habitat

  • Attend Habitat homeowner training classes
  • Contribute 250 hours of "sweat equity"
  • You are willing to live in an area where Habitat has homes
  • Pay $1200 towards closing costs
