Food Pantry - Hope Helps, Inc.

This pantry provides non-perishable food, produce, meat and fresh bread, 4-days per week. This is free. They also have a summer lunch program for the disadvantaged children of the community.

Hope Helps, Inc.

Hope Help's mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida. They help individuals and families to become self-sufficient through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Education.

Services include a food pantry and thrift store. They also have a resource center that helps with referrals and social services. Volunteers offer training courses on specific subjects. All of these services can be found at the Village of HOPE.

Pet Owner Assistance - Humane Society of the United States

The Humane Society has an online list to help pet owners in need. A state-by-state list of other helpful organizations is also provided. Pet food and helping with spay/neuter needs are among areas of help for pet owners. They also have advice for what to do if your pet needs emergency care and you cannot afford a vet.

Domestic Abuse Shelter - Harbor House of Central Florida

If you need to leave an abusive situation, Harbor House can help you prepare ahead of time so that you can protect yourself, your children, or pets. They have a domestic violence shelter. The shelter might not be the right answer for you. If so, they can help you find other options.

Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged-Florida Department of Transportation

The (FDOT) has a group called the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. They help those who need to get good and affordable transportation. This service is available in all 67 counties. To use it, you need to meet certain requirements. For more information visit their website.
