The ALPHA program is a school-based prevention program. It gives support and counseling to students. The services are free during school hours. They are offered at seven elementary schools in Orange County. Children must be enrolled in their target grade level and have a permission slip signed by a parent. Kids of HOPE is a summer program that gives lunches to disadvantaged children. This program covers the time when schools are out in the summer and other school breaks. Families can pick up a week's worth of free lunches for their child. At the end of the summer, there is a Back to School Bash where they get school supplies so that they are ready like any other kid.
