AAA - Senior Victim Advocate Program - Pasco

This agency serves elderly victims of crime. It is for those who are not receiving services from any other victim aid program. It helps victims of fraud, robbery, assault, domestic abuse and more.

Seniors can get transportation related to the case, help with completion of paperwork and help with the victim compensation application. Seniors can get emergency legal advocacy. It is for anyone age 60 or over. This office serves Pasco and Pinellas counties.

RAP House( Runaway Alternatives Project)-Youth & Family Alternatives, Inc. (YFA) -

RAP House is a runaway and youth crisis program for troubled youth. It serves children between the ages of 10 and 17. Provides shelter services are provided for youth who have run away from home. They may also be homeless, having school-related problems, or be youth in crisis for any other reason and need respite care. RAP House primarily serves Pasco County. Services are available 24/7.

Job Search - Connections Job Development Corporation

This agency has services for job seekers. You can register for the job search technique class. Orientation is offered every Monday at 10:00 a.m.

You can get career counseling, help with your resume’ and job leads. You can meet with a Job Advisor. You can take computer classes during office hours. You will have access to a copier, fax and email.

National Family Caregiver Support Program-ACL

This agency gives help to persons sixty or older. The goal of this program is to ease the emotional, physical, and financial hardships of continual care.

Services:
Transportation
Material resources
Assistance in gaining access to services
Individual counseling
Support groups and caregiver training
Respite care
Supplemental services, including housing improvement, chore, provision of medical supplies and services
Legal assistance for caregivers, grandparents or older individuals who are caregivers for relatives.

Pasco County's Programs for Homebuyers

This program helps people buy their own homes. There are funds available to help you with your down payment. You must make less than 120% of the median income in the Tampa Bay area to qualify.
You do not have to be a first time home buyer. You do not have to be a current Pasco County resident. You must attend a County Homebuyer class.

Any kind of home is eligible, except for mobile or manufactured homes.

You will need to put some of your own money into the purchase of the house. This can be in the form of down payment, closing costs or other pre-paid items.

This is a 0% interest loan.
