The Society helps those in need who live within the parish boundaries of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. They can help with food once a month. Financial assistance is given once a year to each client. They can help with utility bills or rent weekly, providing they have a shut-off notice or eviction notice.

YMCA programs are tools for building the values of caring, honesty and respect. They are longtime leaders in community-based health and fitness programs. Y's teach kids to swim, offer exercise classes for people with disabilities and lead adult aerobics. They also offer many other programs in response to community needs. The Young Men’s Christian Association is known as YMCA for short. It is a nonprofit group. They use faith-based principles in their programming. The group has three focus areas.
