An expansion of the Bay Care system is Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Recovery Center. It is the only freestanding psychiatric hospital in Pasco County. It is a Baker Act receiving facility.

Treatment at the Center includes acute care services, case management, crisis intervention and support. The medical staff focuses on the unique needs of each patient. In addition to mental health care, good nutrition and physical activity are part of the care plan. Each patient will get aftercare planning before being discharged.

This agency has a toll-free hotline for runaways or for any teen thinking about running away from home. It serves youth 12-20 with referrals and advice. They can set up a conference call between you and your parents. Both youth and parents can leave messages back and forth. This agency coordinates the adoption of children from third world countries. They work with immigration, the State Department, embassies in the U.S. and various nations. They network with 15-20 DCF services.

This agency provides visitation services. They take place at the Calvary Chapel Worship Center. It provides a safe place where children can meet with a noncustodial parent.

This program offers therapy for children and families affected by sexual abuse. Their goal is to assure the child's immediate safety. They will help the child and family in coping with the trauma.

Counseling services are provided to individuals, families, couples and children. Counselors can help with grief and loss, anxiety, and marital conflict. Fees are based on household size and income.
