Case Management-Camelot Community Care

This agency provides certified case management services to children who have a mental health diagnosis. They link advocates and refer children and family for needed services. Medication management is available on-site.

The case manager arranges and monitors the services being provided. He or she is the advocate for the client. He/she makes sure the most appropriate level of service is being given.

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute - Cancer Treatment

This hospital offers comprehensive cancer treatment programs. They include patient care, clinical research, education and cancer control activities. Clinical programs focus on specific organ sites or types of cancer. Each patient gets an individualized plan of care. They have a wide range of support services for both patient and loved ones.

They offer short-term help with past due rent, utilities and limited medical services. Their are income and asset eligibility requirements. Cost for funeral expenses may also be available.

Service Dogs- Southeastern Guide Dogs

Blind or visually impaired veterans who wish to be more independent may apply for a guide dog. Veterans live and learn on campus and then receive follow-up support. The dog, equipment and instruction are all free of charge.

Other veterans may benefit from a Veteran Service Dog. Dogs help those with PTSD to regain confidence and heal faster.

Family Therapy Dogs visit military hospitals. They spread cheer and encouragement which help the wounded heal from their injuries.
