Home Ownership Program - Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, Inc.

This agency builds homes for low to moderate income individuals. They must meet certain criteria. Prospective homeowners need to help build the home, be able to assist with closing costs, and make monthly mortgage payments. These homes are sold to homeowners at no profit with a no-interest mortgage.

To be eligible for this program, you must have lived or worked in Hillsborough County for the last 12 months.

This is a pre-screening questionnaire, not a final application for homeownership. This form is to help determine if the Habitat for Humanity program might be right for your household. It is the first step in the process of applying for a home.

Utility Bill Assistance - Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly

The Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program is known as EHEAP for short. It is offered by the Department of Elder Affairs which helps low-income households with at least one person age 60 and older. The help is for emergency energy related costs during the year.
