Education and job training are provided so the women can get a GED or college diploma. They will develop specific job seeking skills so they will be more self sufficient. Each woman stays an average of six to eight months after her baby is born.

Office Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm. The shelter is staffed 24 hours a day.

Legal Services - Hubbard House

The Center for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (CPDV) is a “one stop shop” inside the City Hall Annex. HH court advocates help victims of domestic violence with court mandated orders. They also help clients find a safe place to live and provide emotional support during the victim's transition process. Please call or visit their website for more information.

Children's Services - Hubbard House

Children who live with violence are impacted by that violence--whether they were physically abused or not. HH helps them understand that violence is not their fault. They help children know what they can do should they be in danger and help them understand and express their feelings. Children learn nonviolent conflict resolution skills so the violence will not be repeated in the next generation. Please see the website for more information.
