Americans for Immigrant Justice is a non-profit law firm. They fight for justice for immigrants. They offer direct help, and advocacy and outreach. Services are offered at no cost.

MADD

MADD offers support to those who have been affected by another person's drunk driving. They advocate for victims' rights and compensation. They fight for stricter underage drinking laws. They sponsor Walk Like MADD walks to raise funds. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Florida WIC Program

This program is called WIC for short. It is for pregnant women and children up to five years old. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and referrals for health care. Each eligible family gets an EBT card to use at the grocery store. They also get a list of foods to purchase at the lowest prices.

Hunger Relief - Lutheran Social Services

This group offers a food pantry for those in need. Anyone is welcome but you must make an appointment. You may visit once a month. They are open Monday - Friday from 10 am - 2 pm. They also work with the Jacksonville Humane Society to offer a pet food bank to help feed your pets. Please call or visit the website to learn more.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - Northeast Florida Community Action Agency

LIHEAP is a program that helps low-income households who are low on funds or about to have their energy cut off. They will make payments directly to the utility company for you. You can call their automated line at any time to schedule appointments. Appointments can be made up to 14 days ahead of time. Please call or visit the website to learn more.
