Food and Hygiene Pantry-Charlotte HIV/AIDS People Support
CHAPS Food and Hygiene Pantry provides food and hygiene items. It is a “choice” pantry. This means that clients are allowed to select food items. Services are available to residents of DeSoto, Charlotte, and South Sarasota counties. Clients must be referred by their local health department or comprehensive care center. The Charlotte HIV/AIDS People Support, Inc, or CHAPS for short, is a nonprofit group. The group is run entirely by volunteers. They provide food and hygiene items to those persons in need. Persons living with HIV/AIDS and their dependents. Goods are offered at no cost to those being helped.
