Social Security Disability -Social Security Administration

SSA has two programs for disability benefits. They are different but have the same medical requirements. The programs pay benefits to individuals. As well as certain family members. Please call or visit the website for more information.

St. Anthony of Padua

The Society helps needy people who live in the boundaries of St. Anthony of Padua. They can help with food assistance once a month. They can help with financial assistance by appointment. Aid is given according to the amount of donations from the parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua.

Hours of operation: 9:30am-11:30am

St. Michael the Archangel

St. Vincent de Paul Cares Program(SVdP) is a place where those in need are welcome to come for help. The staff and volunteers are committed to person-to-person service.

All services are based on partnership with other providers in the community. The goal is to help the individual toward self-sufficiency.

The Center helps individuals with an initial job search, referrals to community job programs, and GED studies. They can help with social security or getting IDs, or simply getting respite from the elements.

The center also offers a mail drop for clients, hot drinks and snacks.

Clients can consult with an on-site nurse for medical advice and appropriate treatment. You will need an appointment.

Men can get a referral to transitional housing.

St. Thomas Aquinas

The Society helps those in need who live within the parish boundaries of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. They can help with food once a month. Financial assistance is given once a year to each client. They can help with utility bills or rent weekly, providing they have a shut-off notice or eviction notice.

St. Vincent de Paul - St. James

The Society helps those in need who live within the boundaries of St. James Church. They help with food. Financial aid is given once a year, to help with utility bills or rent, providing the client has a shut-off notice or eviction notice.

Support Services - Center for Autism and Related Disabilities

CARD helps by providing short-term guidance, support, and resource referrals at no cost to people with ASD, their families, and those who serve them. They provide support for individuals from the time of diagnosis throughout their lives.

Temporary Cash Assistance-DCF- Pasco County Service Center

The Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) program provides limited financial aid to low income families. The amount depends on the family size and income. Families can also get Medicaid benefits. They are referred for requested social services. Individuals must be U.S. Citizens or qualified non-citizens. They must live in the State of Florida.

There are also cash benefits for children who have been placed by the courts into a relative’s home.
