Kids Cafe

The Kids Cafe program is an after-school, meal service program. It gives food to children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The group makes and delivers balanced meals. Deliveries are on weekdays, during the school year. Meals are served by community partners and not the food bank itself.

Kids of HOPE

Kids of HOPE is a summer program that gives lunches to disadvantaged children. This program covers the time when schools are out in the summer and other school breaks. Families can pick up a week's worth of free lunches for their child. At the end of the summer, there is a Back to School Bash where they get school supplies so that they are ready like any other kid.

Kimberly Homes - Transitional Housing Program

The Kimberly Home offers a Housing Program. The program provides transitional housing to pregnant women and new moms. While participating in the program, residents receive help in finding a permanent home. They will also have the chance to participate in a number of informative classes. Lake City Permanent Supportive Housing Program - Volunteers of America

This program provides housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for chronically homeless individuals. They have a mental illness or a substance abuse disorder. The program will help stabilize participants. It will also prepare them for a life of independence. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Lealman & Asian Neighborhood Family Center - Adult Services

LANFC has several programs for adults. They are an ACCESS site for anyone who would like to apply for food stamps and other state benefits online. Adults can learn English or take a basic computer class. A Family Specialist can offer support and referrals to area agencies (appointment needed). There are also social activities for seniors. Lealman & Asian Neighborhood Family Center - After School Programs

This center has After School programs for children in elementary and middle school. They provide a structured, safe and nurturing program for youth. Staff provide tutoring, help with homework, arts and crafts and more. Services are free, but children must be registered ahead of time. There is free transportation from several nearby schools for grades K-8. Please see the website for more information and times.
