It is available 24/7. It provides a safe place where survivors can get counseling, support groups and referrals. They can get help to rebuild their lives. Tutors are available to help children keep up in school.
The shelter can house up to 40 women and children.

The Dr. Frank and Maxine Jacbos Center for Men has a year-long program called the Regeneration Program for men who are dealing with different problems in their lives. They also provide emergency shelter for one night and housing for people who need a place to stay while they get back on their feet. You can get a meal, a shower, and a safe place to sleep. LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) helps low-income households with the costs of heating and cooling their homes. Funds are given once a year. This is based on the clients gross income and household size. Priority is given to those age 60 or over, and/or person has a disability; and/or at least one child under 5 in the home.
