Connections works with those who are seeking employment. They can help you with job search skills. They offer computer training and one-on-one job counseling. They can help with resume review and preparation, job leads, and interview clothing. All services are free and there is no charge to area employers who wish to post openings with them.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida provides the Culinary Training Program. It is a 16-week program provided at no charge. Students attend classes Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. Please call or visit website for more information.
This agency helps people with disabilities to get and keep a job. If you are accepted for the program, a counselor will help you plan your “road map to success”. Each plan is catered to the client’s needs. The website has useful videos. There is one with a sign language interpreter for the hearing impaired.
