St. Vincent de Paul Cares Program(SVdP)- Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Pasco

St. Vincent de Paul Cares Program(SVdP) is a place where those in need are welcome to come for help. The staff and volunteers are committed to person-to-person service.

All services are based on partnership with other providers in the community. The goal is to help the individual toward self-sufficiency.

The Center helps individuals with an initial job search, referrals to community job programs, and GED studies. They can help with social security or getting IDs, or simply getting respite from the elements.

The center also offers a mail drop for clients, hot drinks and snacks.

Clients can consult with an on-site nurse for medical advice and appropriate treatment. You will need an appointment.

Men can get a referral to transitional housing.

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Florida Department of Education provides Supported Employment. This program offers ongoing support services for employment to individuals with disabilities. This program helps women prepare for and get jobs. Counselors help clients develop career plans, address emotional issues, build problem-solving skills and more. Their goal is to promote self-sufficiency in women.
