The Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center offers a program to help anyone who is a victim or survivor of violence. Victims do NOT have to report to law enforcement to receive services. All services are free and private.

Services Include:

• Immediate outreach to victims of sexual battery

• Support groups
• Accompany and support victims through criminal justice proceedings
• Transportation to court appearances and other appointments related to the victimization

Angel Flight Southeast provides free air transportation for children and adults by private plane to medical facilities. This is offered when commercial service is not available, or not affordable. Please call for more information.

Angel Flight Southeast looks to offer free air transportation. They assist people with medical or other needs. You must be able to sit up in an airplane seat for the duration of the flight. Flights must be scheduled at least 10 days in advance. You must have a medical release to be able to fly. Most trips are limited between 100 to 1,000 miles. ARC Gateway provides services to people with developmental disabilities. The people they serve receive the following:

Free transportation services are available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Services are given to those with developmental disability. Call on the day before you need a ride. Reservations are only taken 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Day Treatment Center – Transportation services are provided Monday through Friday; arrangements for transportation are made by the Gulf County Guidance Clinic
• Kidney Dialysis Center – Transportation services are provided on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (can be arranged on other days); arrangements are made through the Kidney Dialysis Center
• Rides to doctor’s appointment, recreation, shopping, post-secondary/adult education, or life-sustaining activity
