Medicare is a Health Insurance Program for people age 65 or older. Some disabled people under age 65 and people of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease may also apply.

This foundation has a respite relief program. It is for military and veteran caregivers. The program offers access to free, short term relief. Help is in the form of in-home care professionals. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Services Include:
EyeCare America’s Senior Program helps seniors aged 65 and older protect their vision. It connects them with local, volunteer eye doctors. They can get a free eye exam and follow-up care for up to one year. Follow-up care is for any condition found during the initial eye exam. Visit the website to learn more.
SHINE provides health insurance counseling to Florida's elders. Their caregivers and families can also access this information. All services are free. Please see the website for more information.

The Council has many services for seniors. This includes meal sites, health support, home delivered meals, homemaker services, and nutrition classes. There are also telephone reassurance, and transportation services. Caregivers can apply for respite care.
Seniors must be 60 years of age or older.
This Care Center provides end-of-life care. It address the physical, social, spiritual and emotional care of each patient. There are services for family members as well. The Care Center is there for those who can no longer remain in their home. The 16-bed center provides all the comfort of home along with full hospice services.
