This program is for women who have worked in the home and now need to find a job. Women who are working part-time or are now working at minimum wage may also qualify. Clients will learn skills that will help them re-enter the workplace. All of the Displaced Homemaker Program services are free of charge. Please see the website for more information.

Unemployment Compensation (UC) program provides temporary wage replacement to qualified individuals who are out of work through no fault of their own. You can file a claim on the website. You can also file an appeal on a denied claim.

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment VetSuccess:

This program helps Veterans with service connected disabilities. It helps them to prepare for and find jobs. Sometimes disabled Vets cannot immediately go to work. VR&E offers these Veterans help to live as independently as possible. Please call the office for more information.

Services Include:

• Case management, counseling, and medical referrals
• Comprehensive rehabilitation evaluation
• Employment services such as job-training, job-seeking skill and resume development
• Assistance finding and keeping a job
