American Cancer Society - Road to Recovery, Broward County Transportation

The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program provides transportation to and from treatment. For people who have cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need. Please call for more info.

ACL - Connecting People to Services

The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Coral Springs Parks and Recreation - Coral Springs Senior Ride Transportation Program

This program provides transportation to local grocery stores and smalls for senior citizens. The group also goes on trips to local attractions at an additional cost. Any Coral Springs senior age 55 and older can join this service. They must be able to board bus without assistance and carry their own packages. The annual fee is $25.
