Mission In Citrus - Veterans Services

This agency has a special outreach to Veterans. They presently have 7 beds allocated just for them. They hope to raise funds for a barracks style Veterans Center to house 20 homeless Vets. Volunteers go out into the nearby woods and bring food and water to the Vets living there. For those who prefer to live in the woods, they can come to the Mission for needed food and supplies or to make a phone call. The Mission uses Celebrate Recovery and other programs for treatment. All Veterans are welcome. Please see the website for more information.
