ECS has programs that are based on the latest research. They show the impact of early activities on brain growth. Bright, colorful settings encourage exploration. Engaging playthings stretch young imaginations and develop motor skills. Shared stories and rhymes build language skills. Developing language skills are supported through meaningful conversation. Teachers expand on children’s ideas, and everyone explores new ideas together.

This agency grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. It is for children ages 2 1/2 to 17. After a child is referred, Make-A-Wish will work with the child's doctor to determine eligibility. Their vision is to grant one wish to every eligible child. This agency offers free consumer credit counseling. You can call or chat online. Credit and debt counseling services are free. A session takes between 60 to 90 minutes. Please call for more information.
This agency offers court advocacy for children who have been abused and involved in the court system. Teens that are aging out of the foster care system can learn about their options as well. Please call or visit website to learn more.

This library offers many programs for adults and children. There is a pre-school program for toddlers. Patrons can use the computers, fax and copier machines. Monthly classes include exercise, crafts, computers and more. Patrons can check out ebooks. Please check the Events calendar on the website regularly.
Students within the Dixie County school district have the option of attending virtual classes online. Students in grades 6-12 may be full or part-time. They may also be home education students or private school students. Driver Education and Personal & Family Finance will be offered through the Virtual School this summer. These courses are open to all students in 9th thru 11th grade. If you would like to enroll for either course, please sign up in Guidance.
