Emergency Assistance - Catholic Charities Gainesville Regional Office

This is an emergency assistance program. It helps those in danger of being homeless. You have to live in Gainesville or the surrounding counties to qualify. It is for those struggling with finances or those who need help with getting food. They have a food pantry you can go to once a month. They also help people having a hard time paying bills. Meridian Behavioral Healthcare - Financial Assistance (Dixie & Gilchrist)

MBH strives to make treatment as affordable as possible. Treatment costs vary depending on the services that are needed. They accept insurance and set fees based on a sliding scale. Also, certain MBH locations now have self-service ACCESS FLORIDA computer kiosks in the waiting rooms. You may use one of these computers to apply for Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps) and other State benefits. Please call for more information.
