Seamark Ranch is a long-term care facility for at-risk children. It is for those who are between the ages of 6 and 16 whose parental rights have been cut. Children are accepted based on need without regard to money or influence. They attend classes at the on-campus school. They spend time on the on-site farm and also help take care of the farm's horses. The goal is to prepare them for future success in life. When the first shock fades, an intense and overwhelming grief may arise after the loss of a child to homicide. FOSCI helps by providing grief support groups and counseling. This is an addiction recovery program at the McDuff Avenue campus. Clients live on campus for about 18 months. They must make a commitment to the program which will enable them to make a new life for themselves and for their families. Clients take part in a full range of education and recovery services.
