The UF Health Breast Center provides compassionate care. And personalized options for patients and their families. The medical team is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of breast diseases. The team works to streamline care for those diagnosed with breast cancer. Women should receive annual examinations for early detection. The health department offers regular tests such as mammograms and Pap tests. Women can also receive family planning services. Pregnant women can get prenatal care and counseling. The goal is to ensure delivery of a healthy baby. Insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid are accepted. If you do not have insurance, care is provided on a sliding fee scale. Please call your health center and speak with a Human Service Counselor.
