Home for Boys and Girls - Seamark Ranch

Seamark Ranch is a long-term care facility for at-risk children. It is for those who are between the ages of 6 and 16 whose parental rights have been cut. Children are accepted based on need without regard to money or influence. They attend classes at the on-campus school. They spend time on the on-site farm and also help take care of the farm's horses. The goal is to prepare them for future success in life. Housing - Clara White Mission

The goal of this housing program is to move homeless clients to permanent housing and independent living within 24 months. Priority is given to Veterans, who make up to 75% of the residents. Female clients live off-campus. Please see the website for more information.

Residents are required to:

  • Be working and/or in school
  • Complete a health assessment
  • Complete a mental-health assessment/engage in mental-health counseling as needed
  • Maintain sobriety
  • Participate in case-management and life-skills classes
  • Participate in substance-abuse education classes and support groups, as needed

Housing - Sulzbacher

Sulzbacher provides short-term housing to homeless men, women, and families with children.

Services include:

Jacksonville Bridge Community Release Center - Bridges International

This program can serve up to 140 inmates at a time. It gives participants the chance to get their lives back on track. They are employed during the day and work on substance abuse treatment, education and vocational courses at night. WR inmates pay a fee for their room and board. They also make court-ordered payments and send money home for family support. They are required to set money aside for savings upon release.
