The Connect Program - Healthy Start of Central & North Florida Coalitions
This program helps pregnant women, infants and families. It connects them to resources. It aims to help make healthy homes for children. They can connect you to food, housing help, counseling, and jobs. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Thrift Store - Alachua County Humane Society
This thrift store offers clothing and household items at lost cost. They also have antiques, electronics and pet supplies. Proceeds from all sales go directly to the Humane Society. They are always in need of donations. Please see the website for more information.
Tri County Outreach, Inc.
Tri County Outreach, Inc. thrift store sells gently used housewares, home decor, antiques, collectibles, purses and clothing. Proceeds benefit the emergency food pantry. They are open from Monday-Thursday, 10AM-3PM. Please call 352.493.2310 or go to their Facebook page to learn more.
WIC - Gilchrist County
WIC is for low to moderate income women who are pregnant, have recently had a baby or are breastfeeding. It is also for infants and children up to age 5 who may be at nutritional risk. It doesn’t matter whether you’re working or not working. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. WIC services are available to anyone who lives in Florida and meets the program guidelines. Please see the website for more information.
