ACL - Connecting People to Services

The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Senior Resources Association - Meals on Wheels

Senior Resource Association provides the Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers deliver meals to clients’ homes Monday through Friday. They do this between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. They also give a daily safety check and friendly interaction. Full week or partial week is available. They also offer frozen meals for the weekends. If you are homebound and have been discharged from a healthcare facility within the last 30; or, whose caregiver is going into a healthcare facility for a brief period of time, they offer Emergency Meals on Wheels.
