The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Florida Department of Transportation provides the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. This shared-ride service provides low-cost transportation to this in need. Please call or visit website for more information.
GoodDays provides financial support to patients who cannot afford medication. They also offer help with transportation and other travel costs. Please call or visit website for more information.
This agency helps patients with travel and lodging when they are part of a clinical trial in another town. Please see the website for a list of current programs.

Senior Resource Association provides Community Coach. It is a door-to-door service between the hours of 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Rides are available to all eligible Indian River County customers for just $2 per trip. Currently, Community Coach is a “demand response” service. This means you must call in advance to schedule your trips with them. You will be picked up at your home. Please call or visit website for more information.
Senior Resource Association helps with transportation by offering GoLine. GoLine is the Indian River County Public transit system. The bus service runs on 14 fixed routes throughout the County and in Barefoot Bay. Riders take GoLine buses to dozens of locations throughout the area. GoLine buses operate weekdays from 8 am through 5 pm with extended hours on specific routes. Saturday service is offered on several routes from 9 am to 3 pm. Riders under the age of 12 must have an adult with them. There is no charge to ride the bus. Instead, GoLine passengers are encouraged to make a donation to help support the bus system.
