ACL - Connecting People to Services

The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) - Suncoast

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities helps people with developmental disabilities. The group helps with living, learning, and working in the community. They offer a wide range of services. The available services and resources are to help people and their families. The group works with local organizations and private providers to support those being helped. Goodwill - Four Wheels For Work Program

Four Wheels for Work is a program that helps low-income working individuals get a car. Must currently be employed and reside in Lee County to be eligible for this program. Completing an application and budget sheet is required. This will be reviewed by a committee. If approved, classes on money management, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance will be required. These classes are free of charge. Applicants will be responsible for a small monthly payment, as well as car insurance. Call for more information.
