Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches provides residential care to children in need. It is for ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who helps them. The goal of Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is to prepare all children age 4 for kindergarten. The program gives each child the chance to perform better in school and throughout life.
