Services Region 13 - SEDNET

SEDNET has services and programs for students and their families. These are for students who have or are at the risk of having emotional and/or behavioral disorders. They help to teach the students how to behave appropriately. And how to be less dependent. They help them be able to join in on all parts of school and community. The Centers - Acute Care Services

The Centers provides Acute Care Services.

  • 24 Hour Assessment Services: provides 24 hour, 7 day a week face to face mental health and substance abuse evaluations—24 hour telephone crisis intervention counseling also included
  • Detoxification Services: provides inpatient/outpatient detoxification treatment for alcohol and/or drugs, individual and group counseling is included, referral for longer term residential treatment is provided as needed
  • Inpatient Crisis Stabilization Services for Adults and Children: provides short-term inpatient care for those experiencing acute emotional disturbances, medication as well as individual, group, and family counseling are available

The Centers - Adolescent Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Services

Therapy is provided through this program. Services are for ages 13-17. The goal of treatment is to promote recovery from substance abuse and mental health disorders.
