The Senior Resource Alliance is called SRA for short. It is run by the Department of Elder Affairs. SRA is a resource center. It helps find resources on both a state and federal level. SHINE volunteers help Seniors with health insurance questions. They provide free information and unbiased counseling. Get Help with questions about: Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicaid, Prescription assistance, Long-term care insurance, and Medicare fraud. Meet with a SHINE volunteer at area counseling sites or by telephone. We can do home visits for those who are housebound.
